We're Here to Help

DeepWork runs entirely on your device. There are no accounts, no servers, and no external data collection. Below you'll find everything you need to know about how the app behaves and how to troubleshoot it.

Local-Only App

DeepWork is a fully local app. All your session data, insights, streaks, and metrics are stored on your device only. Nothing is uploaded, synced, or transmitted to a server — because there is no server.

This means your privacy is always guaranteed, and the app works perfectly offline.

Offline Functionality

DeepWork works fully offline. You do not need Wi-Fi or cellular data to start sessions, track your performance, or view your insights.

All features operate locally, making DeepWork reliable even in airplane mode.

Data Export

Since DeepWork stores everything locally on your device, there is currently no built-in export functionality.

If you switch devices, your data will not transfer unless you have a full device backup through iCloud or your device's system backup.

Troubleshooting

The timer isn't running

Ensure Low Power Mode is disabled. Some devices restrict background timers when battery-saving mode is active.

Notifications aren't appearing

Check your device's notification settings and ensure DeepWork has permission.

My data disappeared

If you deleted the app or reset your device without a system backup, local-only data cannot be restored — because it never left the device.

Contact Support

If you run into issues or have questions about DeepWork, you can always reach out:

Note: Because DeepWork has no servers and no access to your local data, support cannot view or restore any app data stored on your device.
